About Facebook

Facebook is a social network owned by Meta, where people follow the shows, films and brands they care about. Media companies run Facebook Pages as public channels, posting video there to build an audience around a title and make money from it.

Moments Lab and Facebook

Feeding a Facebook Page from a finished show used to mean a round trip. Someone found the moment, cut it, downloaded the render, uploaded it again somewhere else, then wrote the post there. Now the same person does all of it without leaving Moments Lab, taking out the stage where finished clips pile up waiting to be uploaded. Posts go out while the moment still matters, and the weekly count rises without anyone new on the team. None of it asks you to change what you already have. Your master files stay where they are, the Page stays yours, and the social tools your team runs keep working alongside it.

How it works

Facebook publishing happens in Studio, our built-in editor for digital video, so there is nothing to install and nowhere else to go.

Your team finds the moment in the catalog, then trims it, reframes it and pulls in subtitles from the transcript. For vertical video, a preview lays Facebook's safe zones over the frame, so nothing important ends up hidden behind the platform's own buttons. From there you write the title, description and hashtags, choose the Pages to post to and publish. If the clip belongs on Instagram, TikTok or YouTube too, select those channels, give each its own wording, and they go out in one action. Your publication list confirms the post landed and links straight to it on your Page, though for now it shows only your own posts. Because nothing is downloaded and nothing is uploaded twice, the clip goes live while the moment still matters.

You can set your Pages up yourself from workspace settings, without waiting on us. An owner creates a social profile to hold the channels for one show or brand. From there you log in to your Facebook profile, choose the Page you want to publish to, and it is linked. Add that show's Instagram, TikTok and YouTube accounts to the same profile, and a producer working on the show only ever sees its channels. There is no need to index the whole catalog first: most teams start with one show and are publishing within weeks.
