Moments Lab and TVU Networks

Before, a live show was no use to your social team until the recording came back and someone scrubbed through it. By then the moment everyone was posting about was hours old. Now your team watches the TVU feed inside Moments Lab, cuts the moment and publishes it while the show is on air. When the broadcast ends, the recording is indexed and searchable, so one night's show keeps feeding clips for weeks. TVU stays your transmission and production path, your team keeps the tools it has, and Moments Lab adds the search, clipping and publishing on top.

How it works

Moments Lab connects to TVU as a live stream input. TVU stays your transmission and production path, and Moments Lab records from it and adds search, clipping and publishing on top.

Recording the feed

Streams arrive over RTMP, SRT or HLS from any TVU device, on-prem or the TVU Anywhere app. A recording can start automatically when the stream starts, or you schedule it, or you press record in the browser. Recordings run in chunks of up to four hours, and you can record as many streams at once as you need. Speech is transcribed and people on screen are detected while the recording runs, so your team can search and cut before the show ends.

Files, access and getting started

TVU metadata comes across with the recording. You set which organizations can see and share each recording when you create it, and Moments Lab works with single sign-on through Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra ID and Okta. Our team connects your TVU channels for you.
